Canadian titles arriving on Crave and Netflix Canada in October. Dates come from Bell Media for its Crave Originals and from MobileSyrup and Exclaim! for the rest. Financing is what the broadcaster named or what the Canada Media Fund’s public database shows. On October 6 we searched that database by title for each Crave Original, and only Yaga returned a matching record. A missing record does not show that a title had no public funding.

On Crave

  • Snooki: The Paranormal Rookie, arrived October 2. An eight-episode unscripted Crave Original in which Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi joins investigators at reportedly haunted sites in Ontario, among them Tuckett Mansion in Hamilton and Huron Historic Gaol in Goderich. Bell Media credits Buck Productions, working with My Entertainment and Crave, and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit. Official trailer.
  • All Heart: A Rugby Story, October 9. A four-part Crave Original docuseries on the Canadian women’s rugby team at the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup, with all episodes available at once. Boat Rocker Studios produces it and Kathleen Jayme directs. Jay Baruchel and The Tragically Hip are executive producers, and Bell Media says TSN will broadcast it later. Bell Media’s release names no public funder.
  • Yaga, October 23. Bell Media says this eight-episode Crave Original drama is based on Kat Sandler’s play, with Sandler as writer, showrunner and executive producer, and Noah Reid, Carrie-Anne Moss and Hudson Williams in the cast. The first two episodes arrive October 23, then one a week until a two-episode finale on November 27. Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures made it in association with Bell Media, and Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company, distributes it internationally. Bell Media names the Canada Media Fund, the Rogers Series Fund and the Bell Fund as participants. The CMF database has two records under “Yaga I”, and does not say whether the applicants are the companies named above. One is a $57,782 development commitment in 2024-2025 through the Bell Media English envelope, to The Donaldson Company Inc., region Toronto. The other is a $176,282 commitment in 2025-2026 under the English Regional Production Bonus, to Yaga S1 Productions BC Inc, region British Columbia. Official trailer.

MobileSyrup’s Crave list tags these library titles as Canadian. The tag is MobileSyrup’s, not a certification. Scheduled for dates now past: How She Move, Indian Horse, Maps to the Stars and The Mother and the Bear (October 1), and Broad Trip (October 4). Still to come: A Tribe Called Love (October 8); This is Not a Test (October 16); Maya & Samar and Veins (October 23); A Castle of Our Own (October 25); At the Place of Ghosts (October 30); and Hunting Matthew Nichols (October 31).

On Netflix Canada

  • Below, October 8. A six-episode Netflix thriller created by Canadian showrunner Jesse McKeown, set in a Newfoundland community and filmed in the province in summer 2025, according to MobileSyrup and TV, eh? MobileSyrup lists Mackenzie Davis, Willow Kean, Rohan Campbell and Kaleb Horn among the Canadians in a cast that also includes Josh Hartnett and Charlie Heaton. MobileSyrup’s version of Netflix’s October list tags it (CA). Neither MobileSyrup nor TV, eh? names a Canadian production company or any public financing. Official trailer.
  • SCTV: The Greatest Show You’ve Never Heard Of, October 30. A Netflix documentary about the Canadian sketch series, directed by Jason Hehir. Exclaim! relays Variety’s description of the film as built on interviews with surviving cast members and a reunion in Toronto. First look.
